Below should be a warning for accommodation owners who promote out of date or/and inaccurate official tourism grades and awards.

This should be of serious concern to the guest houses and B&Bs who elect to be offically assessed under a less demanding star classification, and then call and market themselves as a star rated hotel. It should also worry anyone with outdated AA & VB star ratings on websites, brochures, and signs outside a property.
All owners should be 100% honest about their accommodation, because (A ) it is what potential guests pay for and expect. (B ) Conform with the Advertising Standards Laws and Trade Description Act.
Online reviews used as an guide to standards are now far more trustworthy, that the past its sell- by-date messy official star rating system.
